Our experience with SBT Spanish Academy has been outstanding.  My son started using their services about 5 weeks before the AP Spanish exam (not a lot of time but that is what we had). He worked directly with Eric Meza. From the very beginning, Mr. Meza demonstrated a deep understanding of the material and an ability to identify my son’s knowledge gaps. The lessons were always well organized and tailored to my son’s needs, using appropriate course materials that closely aligned with AP Spanish curriculum requirements. I want to highlight SBT Spanish Academy professionalism and excellent communication. They consistently provided helpful feedback, answered questions thoroughly, and followed up to ensure my son was on track with the assignments.  My son put a good effort into the assignments and the sessions, which is key to see improvement. He had a very positive experience and showed improvement throughout the tutoring process.  At the end of the process, he felt more confident and prepared for the exam. I highly recommend SBT Spanish! I came in with some basic Spanish skills from school, but my goal was to become more conversational for work and personal growth. Erich has been incredible, he tailors every lesson to my needs, explains the learning process clearly, and even creates extra practice activities between sessions. Erich is very nice and incredibly knowledgeable on the mechanics of learning and speaking new languages . SBT offers a wide range of settings within which to learn Spanish. Mine were private lessons over Zoom over the course of five years. Due to lifestyle and career factors, I needed flexible scheduling and somewhat spontaneously devised course content. Oftentimes what I encountered using Spanish in my daily life would inspire me to inquire during lessons about exploring what would come up during those encounters. SBT was firmly capable in accommodating this type of flexibility while also maintaining a high standard of tutelage. Eric is really talented teacher and helped my son improve his Spanish specifically for the AP exam in a very short time frame. He identified areas that needed work and with his individualized focus, my son did really well on the exam and improved his conversational Spanish. I have been attending classes online at SBT for the past two years. My teacher’s have been Karla and Lupita. They are excellent at their jobs. I have learned a great deal and the people I speak to regularly in Costa Rica are so surprised at my progress in Spanish. I have been a student with SBT for 9-months and it has been an extremely fun and enriching learning experience. My teacher, Pedro, is phenomenal and makes our Spanish lessons very engaging and thought provoking. Since beginning the classes, my confidence in speaking and comprehending Spanish (both spoken and written) has improved significantly. I have been able to utilize what I am learning on vacations to Spanish speaking countries, in my business, and in everyday interactions with native speakers. My 8th grade honors student was struggling with Spanish when she entered middle school. After months of searching the internet for a good Spanish Tutor finally I came across SBT Spanish Academy. I put in an online request and within a few hours received a response. Mr. Eric set up a free consultation, my daughter. Immediately we felt his professionalism, warmth and welcome. I signed up, and my daughter worked with SBT. Her grade gradually rose to a A and recently she mastered her “check point A” SLP Regents.
